Map the attack on a small office network
After this module you can...
Explain an attack step by step and rate the risk it poses.
How to work through it
Most people take one module every 2 to 3 weeks alongside a job. A few evenings go on the lessons, and a longer session on the lab.

Every lab ends with a short write-up of what you found and how. By module 6, those write-ups are your portfolio, so you have real work to show when you apply.
Which certs does it help with?
The course prepares you for entry-level exams like CompTIA Security+. Networking, threats, logs and incident response all come up in both.
Industry exams are taken separately
You book and sit them with the exam provider, such as CompTIA. They aren't part of a Patchline plan.
The Patchline certificate
Pro and Mentor include a certificate of completion. It shows you finished the course. It is not an industry certification.
Every plan has every lesson.
Billed monthly, cancel any time. Pro adds the advanced labs and live sessions.

No. Module 1 starts with how attacks work, and module 2 teaches networking and the Linux command line from scratch. If you're comfortable using a laptop, you can start.
